Happy March, everyone!

This is a reminder that the All Sailor Meeting at the Portland High School auditorium will be taking place on Tuesday, March 5 at 5:30. This is a great time to connect with teammates, check in with your coach and team coordinator about the season, and get up to speed on everything you need to know going into the spring.

I've attached the practice and regatta schedules. Hopefully we will cover everything on Tuesday, but please let me know if you have any questions.

Lastly, everyone is invited to join us for the Winter Warm Up fundraiser on Thursday, March 7 at O'Maine Studios in Portland! Tickets are $75 and include food, drink, parking and live music and you can get them HERE.

See you next week,

Bill

Bill;
Mackenzie and Abby are willing to help out at the WINTER WARM UP-if they are not expected to pay the $75.
Please either let them know or me know when they need to be there and if there are any special requirements such as dress etc.
Thanks you,
Debbie Bozak

Hello,

My son, Ben Sanborn, would like to participate on the Yarmouth sailing team this spring.  He's in 8th grade at HMS.  Do you have other middle school students on this team this spring season?  Also, he will not be able to start until next due to other commitments.  Could you please let me know if he's able to participate?

Thank you,
Greg Sanborn

Greg;
I apologize about not being at the spring sports meeting.
We do have another 8th. grader who will be starting the season a smidge late because of previous commitments.
She, as are the rules, does not participate in NESSA regattas, but does sail.
The team will be racing on Saturdays for the spring season.  Your son will need a dry suit.  Practices are Monday, Tuesday and Friday.  Starting tomorrow.
You should visit the sailmaine web site for information and sign up.  After you visit the site, if you have any other questions, please let me know and I will do my best to answer them, or try and find out for you.
I have CC'ed the 2 captains of the team so they are aware for your son joining.
Thank you,
Debbie Bozak

Greg;
I've been meaning to drop you an e-mail all week.
How is Ben doing?  I heard he broke his arm.
What I haven't followed up on with the kids, is he still sailing?
