Folks,

I just wanted to follow up on my comments at last week’s call.

I’m helping to put together a panel for Fordham’s International Conference on Cyber Security (http://iccs.fordham.edu/) to look at “Connectivity and Cyber Safety during and after Natural Disasters.”  The conference is in NYC at Fordham’s Lincoln Center campus from Jan. 8-11 and the panel is slated for Jan. 11.

We’re interested in three key aspects:  1) restoring connectivity; 2) security of connectivity (ie protecting against cyber threats); 3) safety of connectivity (i.e. privacy and missing persons).    If anyone from the MP group would be able to talk about experiences in any of these areas and is interested in participating, please let me know as soon as you can.

Thanks,

Joel
