Children in USA / Upcoming Call

Hi All-

Two points of business: 

1) Reminder we have our quarterly conference call coming up on Thursday, July 12 @ 8am PT / 11am ET / 4pm Geneva. I will send out call in details in another week or so. 

2) I'm sure everyone is aware of the situation in the USA with children in detention camps or being moved around the US to foster care. I know there are many thoughtful people on this list and wanted to offer this as a space for a discussion (either as yourselves or representing your institutions). Would we as a group that has worked on reunification want to write an op-ed or letter to a newspaper? Do we have a coordinated view point? Hi Tim and all,

A quick note: a team of former Obama WH lawyers and state Dept staffers have reached out to REFUNITE to ask us to partition our platform to suit the needs of the current US situation. We're assessing with them over the weekend, let me know if you'd like to discuss with us how best to progress. This is not our natural habitat, so we're just delivering the tech.

I think I can state for the group that we would love to be involved in figuring out what is possible. Please let us know what you find out and I’m sure a number of us would be happy to join that discussion.
