Good morning,

I am pleased to inform you today that eCampusOntario has released its call for Expressions of Interest (EOIs) in support of the Government of Ontario’s $50 million Virtual Learning Strategy (VLS).

In my last communication of December 11, 2020, we announced that our organization will play a central role in Ontario’s new Virtual Learning Strategy, in partnership with the Ministry of Colleges and Universities, intended to drive growth and advancement in virtual learning across the province’s post-secondary institutions. The strategy will expand the possibilities of traditional and life-long learning through the accelerated use of both online and hybrid learning.

I thank those who attended our technical briefings held from December 16 through 22, 2020. Over 600 people attended these hour-long information sessions that not only helped answer potential applicants’ questions, but also provided valuable feedback to improve our process.
