I have a number of preferences defined under my user. Today I have been trying to update one of the preferences - and everything is accepted and when I hit the save button - it appears to work in that no errors are shown. But when I open my user preferences - the changes are not present.

Is this a known problem? Anyone else experiences anything similar?

Thanks
Ranil

Hi Ranil,

It seems user preferences are not saving correctly, I have asked more info on it from our team, will update you soon on this.

You can use "save_preferences" and "P_change_preferences" free-marker method to save the user preference for time being.

Thank you,
Pankaj Kumar

Hi Ranil,

You can use "User Management" project available to update the user preference and also from Flex IDE, you can go to "my setting" to update the user preferences.

Hi Pankaj,

Thanks for your replies. I made the change through the "User Management" project. I am not aware about "Flex IDE" or what you are referring to in this inscase . Is there a quick start guide available somewhere?

Regards
Ranil

Thanks Pankaj, sorry got caught out by the terminology of Flex "IDE". It gave me visions of external tooling that could connect to the site.

Cheers
Ranil
