Hi,

Some resources of my project can't be deleted. It is Provider/Connector.

I attached screen shot. Provider is "RunMyProcess Server" and sub connectors also can't be deleted.

In My Connectors menu, trash icon is active and when I delete that, it shows error message.

"Error when trying to delete the connector"

This project is copied from other account. Can it be possible to cause this?

If it is possible, please remove this provider and connecotrs

Regards,
Alan.

Hi, I found that RunMyProvider Server provider is default provider for CAPI or any other connector. I detached this connector from project and tried to delete in "My connectors" menu. As I said before, trash icon is active but when I click this, it shows error like attached screen shot.

Can you check this?

Regards,
Alan.

Hi Alan,

"RunMyProvider Server provider" is default and it is auto created during creation of new project.

Connector Detach query:- Could you give some more information as I try to replicate this behaviour but not able to reproduce. If on provider "detach" button is enabled, they are removed successfully from project.

Thank you,
Pankaj Kumar

Hi Pankaj,

In case of CAPI, I found it is treated to be a connector of RunMyProcess Server provider automatically.
and to delete it, I detached that connector. and move to My Connectors menu and click trash icon. it shows errors what I attached screen shot.

Could you try like this?

 - Create CAPI and insert some connector and save. Let's say this CAPI name is "Validate Test".
 - This CAPI(Validate Test) is shown under RunMyProcess Server provider as connector.
 - Detach that(Validate Test) connecotr from project.
 - Move to My Connectors menu
 - Trash icon is active. So I click this icon but shows error.

If I miss something, please let me know.

Regards,
Alan.

Good Morning Sir,
It is the default platform behavior. In fact, today, it is not possible to detach this provider from a project (even if the project was copied).
This provider should always be in any RunMyProcess process.
If you have any other question, please don't hesitate to contact us.
Best Regards,
Richard

Good morning Sir,

Yes, I can confirm that today it is impossible to delete these connectors.
Usually, what we are doing is that we are changing the connectors names (adding for example "zzz_") at the beginning in order to specify that they are useless connectors.

If you have any other question, please don't hesitate to contact us.

Best Regards,

Richard

Hi Richard,

You are saying there is no problem even though it shows error message when user click delete connector.
If then, it would be various dummy or unused connector in project whether user's testing or developing. Why can't this be deleted? Is there any reason? I hope you can improve this problem.

Regards,
Alan.
