We have a need to read a excel file on the user PC. The data being read will be posted to the RMP form for further manipulation (add, modify and delete). I know that RMP supports JavaScript. However, for this case, it seems that Active X is easier because the technology matches with MS Excel. I understand that only IE browser can only be supported if I use Active X.

Can RMP support Active X ?

Hi Kenneth,

We have a Freemarker function that allows to read the content of an Excel file which has been uploaded on the platform : read_excel_cells(fileId, cells)

Would that fit your need ?
