Configure Task id

Hi RMP team,
I am trying to configure unique identifier for tasks that increments every time a new task is created. I would like to use a format "YYYY-0000", I tried following instructions in tutorial but email notification stopped working. Would appreciate assistance to resolve.

Hi,

In order to generate an incremental auto-number, you can use the next_value function (in the process). The following code should give you the pattern you want : ${now('yyyy')}-${next_value("${now(('yyyy')}")?number?string("0000")}

Hi,

Yes, you're perfectly right, and if you want this number displayed in your form, you should create a text input field that uses the same variable name as the one you've just created in your process for the auto number.
