Hi Sabine,

I just read the post "creating event in google calendar, following example but fails "2013-11-05T17:52:22+0000 - Task "make another entry" (id: 5[0] - status: ACTIVE): Bad Request""

and I'm having a similar problem but in the cookie creation 2014-01-07T07:23:11+0000 - Task "Create event in agenda" (id: 44[0] - status: ACTIVE): 2014-01-07T07:23:04+0000 - Task "Get the calendar cookie" (id: 5[0] - status: ACTIVE): Bad Request

I read the description of your connector (Creating single occurence events [v2.]) but here says that the variables should be empty so I don't know how to mantain the date format.

Best regards,

Andrés

Hello Andrés,

In order to create an event into a calendar, you need to do a get on the calendar resource before in order to get the Cookie.
So you need to have 2 boxes:
The first one you'll be using the 'Get a list of all the calendars' connector where you add in your output a T_cookie variable having the follow as value: ${P_cookie.T?default(P_cookie.S)} (Google named the variable S at moment and changed to a T few months ago, so just to be sure we add a  default value)

The second box will use the 'Creating single-occurrence events [v2.0]' connector. Go the Advanced parameters of your connector and make sure you have Cookie T and ${T_cookie} instead of the S cookie.
The date format "yyyy-MM-dd" will work.

For more information please do not hesitate to contact us back.

Kind regards,
Sabine

Hi Sabine,

Thank you for your fast reply.

I couldn't find the 'Get a list of all the calendars' connector in the connectors library, I use instead the Creating single-occurrence events [v2.0]' connector but I didn't know which input variables to include.

I get a similar error message 2014-01-07T15:06:33+0000 - Task "Crear evento en agenda" (id: 44[0] - status: ACTIVE): 2014-01-07T15:06:28+0000 - Task "Get a list of all the calendars" (id: 6[0] - status: ACTIVE): Bad Request

Hello Andrés,

Sorry for the confusion, it's called 'Retrieving all calendars [v2.0]'. You must use this connector before and get the P_cookie.T.
If you followed what I've mentioned in my previous post using this connecotr and still facing problems, please do send a screenshot of your configuration so I can help you further.

Regards,

Hi Sabine Thank you again,

Still not working. The error now is as follows: 2014-01-07T16:44:15+0000 - Task "Create event in agenda" (id: 44[0] - status: ACTIVE): 2014-01-07T16:44:13+0000 - Task "Get the calendar cookie" (id: 7[0] - status: ABORTED): Error while processing {S_cookie}
Expression S_cookie is undefined on line 1, column 3 in Get the calendar cookie.

Please find attached screenshot of my configuration.

Best Regards,

Andrés

Hello Andrés,

You need to have 3 boxes:
Login google calendar
Get a list of all calendars (This box will get the cookie)
Create Event in agenda

You should not have an S_cookie variable any more. Go into the connector creating single-occurrence events and make sure you have T and T_cookie as shown in the screenshot:
