Hello,

i need to convert the values of the predefined column "Duration" (process duration) from seconds to days, display it in a web report in a form that permits me to export that column to csv.

If i use a calculated column in the web report then that column won't be exported, so i tried to define a measure that gets the duration in seconds and does the math to convert it in days, but i cannot find the process duration variable anywhere (the one associated with the defaul column "Duration"), if there is one.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Best Regards,
Manuel

Hello Manuel,

Sorry for the delay.

Could you please provide the screenshots of the measure variable you have created, the configuration of timer, and the process report's computed parameters section.

Hi Amit,

thanks for the reply, in the screenshots you can see the column i'd like convert in days (Duration), and the computed parameters of the process, i don't know where to find the timer configuration, take note that i'm not the administrator of the platform, but i have designer rights for the project.

As i said before, i want to get the Duration in some way and then convert it in days and place it in a column i can export in a Web Report using the standard report widget.
To do this i thought of creating measure that takes that data (Duration column) and converts it in days via freemarker for example. I didn't create the measure just yet because i couldn't find the variable, or parameter, that stores the duration.

Regards,
Manuel

Hi Manuel,

To show the duration you need to create the measure for it to display in report. I am assuming you want to display the no. of days since when the request is submitted.

For this either you can use the "now" free-marker method in start parameter to save the request submitted timestamp or you can simply use a variable in web interface and and initializes it with java script. This way you can save the date-time details of the request submission in process variables.

Thank you,
Pankaj Kumar
