Hello,
when a user delegates a representative to approve tasks, is there the possibility for the delegator to have a report/list of tasks approved on his behalf during the delegation period ?

Thank you,
Luigi

Hi Luigi,

Yes. When an user delegates a task to representative to approve task, he can see delegation history(task approved by-in user Column ) using history widget from RMP toolbox.

Please find attached screenshot for more information.

Feel free to contact us for more information.

Thanks & Regards,
Ghanshyam

Hi Ghanshyam,
you mean that designers of the projects should first of all provide an "Application history" widget in the WI ?
If so, it means that the delegator, to know the tasks approved on his behalf, should enter each WI of approved processes and examine the application history inside: is it correct ?

Thank you,
Luigi

Hi Luigi,

To know the tasks approved on his behalf , need to create web interface report. While creating report, need to add column & select delegated to option from pop list.

In the delegated to column we can see email id of delegated person.

The answer posted in last post is tedious. You can follow above mentioned approach.

Feel free to contact us for more information.

Thanks & Regards,
Ghanshyam

Hi Ghanshyam,
the last approach seems fine and I need some further clarifications.

In a process with a web interface and several manual tasks (approval steps), if I create a WI report with "delegated to" column, this one will show the delegated email ONLY for the active manual tasks at that moment:
is it true ?
So, it seems non possible to have a report that shows a column with the delegated person once the manual task is passed or the process in completed.

In this case, is it possible to save the delegated value of a task among the "Output Variables" so that ii can be used as a measure column in a process report ?

Thank you,
Luigi

Hi Luigi,

Does it mean you want to access delegation values after manual task approval or rejection then it shows on report by adding value adding into measures & display it on process report?

Thanks & Regards,
Ghanshyam

Hi Ghanshyam,
yes, as a tool to check what has been approved on his behalf, I think it would be fine to have a WI report with a field/column showing if any rapresentative has approved.

Thanks,
Luigi

Hi  Luigi,

When we are going to create web interface, we can add column & select delegated column from drop down thus we can achieve expected functionality.

But it cannot be achieved through Process report because we are unable to fetch delegated user value with predefined function & then add to measures & display it on report.

It would be better to if we go with WI report.

regards,
Ghanshyam
