Hi ,

I created the linked list using link-https://sites.google.com/a/runmyprocess.com/user-guide-runmyprocess/3---developer-guide/data/collection/how-to-create-linked-list

Is it possible to display the linked list in check box format with tick mark for the selected brand?

Taking the same example in the link provided

After selecting the "Ferrai".It should display all names unchecked except the checkbox related to Ferrai.

Hi,

Yes you can, just replace the list widget by a multicheckbox widget and keep everything identical (same configuration, variables ...), but be sure to tick only one checkbox at a time to have the same behaviour as you have now (you can only select a single value at a time in a list).

Regards,

Gareth.

Hi Gareth,

So both fields have to be multiselection check boxes.

One list(brand) and another(Name) in checkbox is not possible in this case.

And also i can see option multiselection in list but checkbox.

How to make checkbox widget as multiselection?

Thanks alot in advance

Hi,

Why isn't it possible to replace both lists by multiselection checkboxes widgets ?

Multiselection checkboxes are already multiselection.
(1) is a single checkbox (or switch) and (2) are the multiselection checkboxes :

Hi Gareth,

The real scenario which i am using has to have one drop down list and one checkbox list.

In brief, please find the logic details below

I am using subscriber names in droplist(For names, we need to se dropdown as , checkboxes wont be looking good and we can't display all names in checkboxes)

And the second field is commodity which they are subscribing to.

Commodity details i am adding it another screen which i am trying to display them in check boxes which user has selected before.

Please advice.

Thanks alot in advance

Hi,

So in fact the content of your multicheckboxes list is not linked dynamically to the selected value of the drop down list, the list of checkboxes is always the same, it's only the boxes that are ticked or not that should be linked to the selected value in the list, right ?

Yes Gareth, in one page it will displayed with all the checkboxes for the user to select.

And the same will be displayed with selected checkboxes and also unselected check boxes for the drop down selected value.

Hi Nagasai,

So, this is what you want ?

Images intégrées 2

In order to do that you need :
Images intégrées 3

Create a widget list for the suscribers (with value variable suscriber and label variable suscriber_l for example).
Create a multicheckboxes widget for the commodities (with value variable commodities and label variable commodities_l for example).
And finally create an hidden JS widget that listens to suscriber
In this JS script put the following code :
function load_suscriber_ok(result) {
if(result != null && result.length != 0){
if(result[0].commodities != ""){
RMPApplication.set("commodities",result[0].commodities);
}
}
}

function load_utilisateur_ko(result) {
// Error while retrieving suscriber data from its email
alert("ko " + JSON.stringify(result));
}

var my_pattern_utilisateur = {};
    my_pattern_utilisateur.suscriber_email = "[[suscriber]]";

col_suscribers.listCallback(my_pattern_suscriber,{},load_suscriber_ok,load_suscriber_ko);

Of course, replace col_suscribers by the name of your collection, suscriber_email by the name of the column containing the email of the suscriber and commodities by the name of the column containing the list of commodities of the suscriber (under the following format : ["test","test2"] )
