How to delete generated files after PDF export?

The customer presses the PDF Export button and a new browser tab opens showing the PDF file. Then the customer can press the download button in the pdf preview tab for storing the file on disk. The generated PDF file remains in RMP forever. Is there a way to retrieve the file-ids of these generated PDF files in order to delete them?

Could you please share the screen-shot from where the customer is using the export PDF button. So that we can assist you in a particular direction.
