Is there a way to configure the favicon so that we can put our own icon?

Hi,

Yes you can configure the css to use your own icon. 
If you are configuring your home page, then you can configure the css for your html tag class name with this :

background-image:url(your image url);

This default home page css "CSS_GREY_HOME.css" uses big icons from aws url. 

You can find the existing RMP icons and css for homepage here :

You can modify existing classes in this css with your url or can create new classes

.bigIcon{display:block;width:120px;height:117px;background-image:url(https://rmp-public.s3.amazonaws.com/public/icons/bigIcons.png);background-repeat:no-repeat;background-position:left top;}

.bigIcon-users{background-position:0px top;}
.bigIcon-partners{background-position:-120px top;}
.bigIcon-account{background-position:-240px top;}

...
