Creating Template for PDF generation

Hi Team,

I want to create pdf document in RMP.

I follow all the steps given in documentation for creating template of PDF.

But I am unable to create exact template as that of my word document.

Do I need to write template manually?

I also tried it with some third party style sheet and it is working fine.

Can anyone help me?

No, you  don't have to write the template manually.

Are you able to create .xsl file properly?

Hi Sweta,

I am able to create the XSL file by using the stylesheet provided by RMP. But it is not complete. Here I attach my XSL(Originally xml)file.

And I notice that RMP uses renderx stylesheet. Can I use it or I need proper licence. Is it free or do I need to pay money.

Hi Sagar,

Please find attached complete sample pdf template and also few attachments on how to make the json in the process. After preparing your .xsl file you need to first upload it in your project and later select it in the Script tab.

Thanks for your reply.

I have created a word document and try to create template for PDF using "Word2FO.xsl" stylesheet(which is available on the link provided by RMP). But when I transform my word document as per the instructions given in the user guide, the generated file is not complete.

Can you share the converter file(Word2FO.xsl) used to create XSL template for PDF from word document.

Hi Sagar,

I am attaching converter file(Word2FO.xsl) which is used to generate sample.xsl file which when uploaded creates pdf (pdf_example).

Hi Sagar,

Sorry for delay in response.

I have created a sample template (first page) as per your requirement.

To insert values into table,you have to create a array and pass that array in pdf.
