Hi.

I am creating a process report to be displayed on a Web Interface. I would like to show the link which has the image of the process and the status of each task on it (like on image_1).

The process report already has this link (image_2), but when I attach it to the Web Interface, the link does not appear (image_3).

Is there a way to put the link on the Web Interface report? Or is there a better way to solve this?

Note: I am not sure if it's important, but the process has tasks running in parallel and tasks that only run on special occasions (XOR).

Best regards,
Jhonatan Gemeli.

Hello Jhonatan,

The link that you see in process report in your IDE is a link to the process instance that is inside Flash environment so we cannot have an explicit web URL to link show the actual flow path on a web interface.

However, we have web interface reports from where a link is generated for the current task in the process with its URL which is openable from a web interface. Just configure the report widget on the web interface with a web interface report and it will have a link to the task in its Name column.
Inorder to view status of other tasks in the workflow, you need to add a custom measure in the process for each variable that holds status of each task and then you can add it as a column in your web interface report.

You can refer to the attached screenshots.

Thanks for the reply Pray.

I already have a similar web interface report showing the tasks and their status. But I was hoping to have a friendlier end user report, where he could see the workflow as a whole (since the process is a little bit complex) and the status of all tasks (in an image and not a table).

In this workflow that I am building, each process launched has a lot of steps and it will take between 1 and 2 months to be completed. So, a report with the image of the workflow and the status of all the tasks would help the user (manager and project leaders) to have a better understanding of the work that has been done and what still needs to be done.

If you have any other suggestions on how I can show this information, I would be glad to hear them.

Cheers,
Jhonatan Gemeli.

Hi,

We cannot show the whole workflow image on a web interface (as you know workflow is in our flash IDE and our web interfaces are HTML5), so you can use our Charts Dashboard to visualize your reports from javascript on web interface. You can make a column chart or pie chart or any other chart follwing Google Charts API documentation.

You can refer to our doucmentation :

You can use different filters (from custom measures in process) on report for visulazing dfifferent types of data using various "Group By" and "Aggregation" options.
