Hi All,

I am trying to connect to Amazon S3 REST API using latest "AWS Signature Version 4" which needs signature to be hashed using "HMAC-SHA256" algorithm.

But, I can see in RMP docs that freemarker hmac method only supports SHA1 & MD5 algorithms. Then how should I generate signature for HMAC-SHA256 algo?

Please help me on this.

For reference,
http://docs.aws.amazon.com/AmazonS3/latest/API/sigv4-auth-using-authorization-header.html

Thanks
Vishal

Hi Vishal,

Currently RMP supports algorithms for encryption are "BASE64/MD5/SHA1/SHA-256".

You need to integrate the third party API given by the Amazon like "Java,.Net, Ruby" by making the web services using those API or integrate the java-script API in WI.

Please find the example code given by Amazon in below link:-
Alternatively you can use the "Amazon Cognitoin order to authenticate users through third-party identity providers

Note:- You can also contact our sales team to discuss the paid support options available in RMP.

Thank you,
Pankaj Kumar

Thanks Pankaj.

Will look into various options provided by you. JS API in WI appears most easy to implement.
