Is there an issue with latest platform after resetting password?
I reset passwords for a couple of users yesterday and found out they are in a pending state and no longer in the roles set up previously.
This hasn't happened when I reset passwords months ago.

Hi Teddy,

It is normal that when you reset password, the user status will be changed to be 'Pending' and temporarily removed from the roles until password has been reset. Once password is reset, user status is again 'Active' and automatically added to the previous roles.

Thanks for the immediate response.
I got worried because I don't remember it going to a pending state before and user said she's in the application but cannot do anything assigned to the role.
I will double check why user can get into the application in the first place.

Hi Pray,

I think the issue is that the RMP system allows logging into the application with temporary password without asking user to pick a new password.
Now, the users are stuck in a "limbo" state where their status is Pending and not able to do things I've assigned to roles linked to the user.
I believe this is a bug or enhancement request that should be addressed.

Thanks,

Hi Teddy,

We have a password reset screen after you enter temporary password. I cannot reproduce the limbo state that you mentioned. Can you check that you have enough user licenses ?

The user went directly to a workflow request thru her email (instead of portal.runmyprocess.com) that looks like:
