Hi,

I'm currently facing an issue where I have users that have tasks assigned to them but that need to be deactivated. These users need to be deactivated as they no longer work for the company.

The main issue is that I have processes that assign tasks for the instance initiator and I end up with several aborted (red) instances.

What would be the best course of actions? Is there any way to change the user that is running the instances? Is there any way to completely transfer everything to a new user?

My account id is 11321419011823922.

Thank you.

Hi,

You can delegate the pending tasks of inactive user to an active user of the Role assigned for the manual Task using Delegation feature available under "RunMyProcess - Users Management".

Also that, we recommend to deactivate the old user(s), but not delete them.

Additional details can be referred from the similar resolved post.

Regards,
Murali

Thanks Murali,

I was already using delegation to handle this. My problem is that I have sub-processes that are being run by the deactivated user.

Should I convert all similar sub-processes to be run as "Last process modifier"?

Replied to Tiago and suggested for Support Contract/Profession Services for further help  to investigate application configurations or to updates from the platform end.
