Box or Dropbox?

Hey guys,

Box seems to have a more mature connector in the RMP library than Dropbox. Is Box fully usable with the existing connector? I undertand they have just released a new API site at http://developers.box.com/ (as advised at http://developers.box.net/w/page/12923958/Welcome%20to%20the%20Box%20Platform).

Please advise if I can reliably use Box:
1. I wish to push data into it using app.mover.io (synchronise from an FTP folder so we can keep copies)
2. Pick up files for RMP processes from there.

Hi Steve,

Yes, Box is fully usable with the existing connectors of our library, but they are still based on the version V1 of the Box API, which will be discontinued by the end of the year (mentionned in the link you've sent). We'll update them to V2 as soon as possible.
For now, you can take the initiative to create yourself the Box connectors you need based on V2, especially given that the Box API Documentation seems pretty clear.

I don't know about Mover but it seems to have some APIs for that too (https://mover.io/docs), you should maybe be able to download files to RMP direclty from there without even going through Box ?

There is a file size issue.  We need them to cloud storage where we can split them if necessary and then put into RMP.
