We have a client product application process form created whit buttons that have an "update process" action to forward the process... after the last update this buttons stop working and we couldnt find why!! Could it happen because the platform update? Do you have a log with the updates?
We need an urgent help because we have this application in production!

Probably because you have these buttons unavailable in next state. Please send screenshots for better understanding.

Good Morning,

Referring to the official JQuery documentation, you should follow the next instructions in order to use the "click" function:

1- Attach the "simulate" library in your interface. You can download the library in the following link:

2- Call the "click" method as indicated below:
$( "#id_button" ).simulate( "click" )

This should fix the issue.

If you have any other question, please don't hesitate to contact us.

Regards,

Richard

Is there any other change on the last update that may affect our application for not complain RMP standars? Is there a change log or something that could give us a clue?

Hi there, returning to work from this special weekend has a little surprise for us.
We had a working jquery datepicker, now only return "null" values.

Is there another way to use it or another standard to fullfil?
Is there any other change that may other users reported?
Is there a log or document with these changes?
Is it posible that jquery is out of this standard and this is why these functions are not working now?

Good Morning Erick,
Please could you share with me your code?
Also, are you using RunMyProcess date picker widget or it is a custom one?
Regards,
Richard

Richard, thanks again to answer so quickly...
To answer your questions, we are not using RMP datepicker, we are using jquery to do this.
My partner is gonna send you the code.

Good Morning,
I used your code in a TEST interface. It seems to work. Please find below my example:

Inline image 1

As you can see, useing the "val" function will help you to get the selected date.

Richard

what happens if function "val" gets outdated and not working in the future? its the same issue we are facing now...
what happens if this "value" is part of a computed process var? What if this only returns with the function "val" and not over the RMP function "getValue"?

Good Morning,
Please could you tell us the version of JQuery that you are using in the interface?
Is it the default one provided by RunMyProcess?
Also, please could you tell us why you are using a default date picker and not the standard RunMyProcess widget?
Best Regards,
Richard

we are  using a default date picker for language modifications  and functional requeriments.

we also need to know what other changes may  affect our application. what other function may be disabled by the last update

Dear
The problem is not if we used or not an alternative script , as in the documentation of RMP is not discouraged or recomend plugins using jquery.
this is a problem because the plugins stop working without warning , you must understand that this is an application in production that began to have failures suddenly .
If they had never worked plugins understand that it is our mistake , but is not the case, as these functioned without problem before last update

Good Morning,
Our R&D TEAM fixed the issue.
Please, could you empty your cache and reload the screen?
The date picker and all the other jQuery functions should work.
I am waiting for your feedback,
Regards,
Richard
