Hi team,

Is there a function available on RMP to clear all pending tasks from the basket?
By "clear", I mean deem those tasks as "Completed", which is different from validating all tasks and moving processes forward.

At the top right on Web Interface, I see my user name and next to it on the right hand side a little box containing the number of Pending tasks in red.
As I am testing and do not wish to open all assigned tasks, I have accumulated a large number of Pending Tasks that I do not plan to validate in the future.
How can I mark them completed without having to open each task and validate?

I am on TEST mode at this stage.

*I am looking for something similar to "Mark all as 'Read'" function on Gmail, etc.

Warm regards,
Aya

Hello Aya,

The answers to your questions are as follows:-

Q:- Is there a function available on RMP to clear all pending tasks from the basket?
Ans:-No. In order to clear pending task go to the Task basket on Web Interface and click on that. Then click on the pending tasks, open the forms and submit them. So those tasks will automatically disappear from the pending task list.

Q:- How can I mark them completed without having to open each task and validate?
Ans:-Right now such functionality is not there. You have to manually open each request & validate it.

Q:- I am looking for something similar to "Mark all as 'Read'" function on Gmail, etc.
Ans:- No such option is available.

Feel free to contact us for more information.

Thanks & Regards,
Ghanshyam

Hi again,

I would like to confirm, is this "clear pending task" function not available regardless of User profile? Is Administrator profile able to clear/complete tasks without manually completing all tasks?

Regards,
Aya

Hello,

Just to follow up on my inquiry, I have recently found out I can delete tasks in this way:
1. Open process report for the correct execution mode
2. Delete the launched process by clicking on the garbage can icon at the very right of each launched process, then confirming deletion on the pop up window.

Regards,
Aya
