Creating assignment groups with users in RMP

Hi Guys,

Im currently trying to create some assignment groups. I would like to create a group and in that group, add some users. So when i choose a assignment group in the application, it should send the people in that group an email that a task has been assigned to them. Is this possible?

Hi Pankaj,

Thanks for your response. So for example i have a assignment group called:

RMP application support

In this group i have 3 users:

dave
bob
john

When im in the interface dropdown list trying to choose a the "RMP application support" assignment group and press submit, an email should be send to all 3 users.

Just to confirm, this is possible? Do i have to make a new organisation or new entities?

Hi,
Yes,it is possible.You don't have to make new entity/organisation but you can create a new role(RMP application support) with the 3 users. You can create a process using the role with email activity in it.On Web Interface,you can fire the process on click of Submit button so that it sends email to all the people belonging to the role.

You can also add users dynamically or at runtime to the respective role.
