In my process, when I have a manual task assigned frequently to certain users with each new instance, they are having a problem recognizing the email for any new task because it nests within the same conversation in gmail.

However, in the manual task/notify by email - there is no place to alter the subject line to prevent this in order to add variables such as customer ID, record ID, etc.

I could have it send a separate email, but the task url wouldn't be included.

Is there a way to implement unique information in the subject line or other identifier for a manual task to prevent this nesting of conversation in gmail?

Hi Jeff,

You can use your Web interface variables or Process variables in the Subject line of a Manual task.

Thanks,
Sushma
