Hi

In a JS widget in a webinterface I have assigned an email address to a JS variable by searching for it in a collection.

How can I then assign a manual task to this variable (which contains the desired email address)?

many Thanks

Jamie

Hi,

If you previously declared a variable using that kind of code in a JS Widget :

RMPApplication.set("assigned_to","onei...@gmail.com");

You can, then enter ${assigned_to} (FreeMarker sintax as you're in process) into the "assign to" field of the Manual Task and tick the box specifying that it will notify by email :

Best regards.

Hi

Thanks for the explanation. That has helped me alot

I now have found that I can not assign a task to myself (An administrator) it only allows me to select a 'User'.

How can I assign a task to myself?

Many Thanks

Jamie

Hi,

To do so you have to add your email id in that role (that is as above post you are using a variable "assign_to" for assigning a task). So, inside that variable make sure your mail id is present.

If you still facing any problem then please feel free to ask.

Thanks & Regards
Shobhit

Many Thanks

Jamie
