Has anyone successfully connected a RMP process to Amazon RDS?

I mainly need the ability to store (write) data to a database at the completion of a project, but full CRUD operations would be desirable in future functionality. It *looks* to me that I will use the SEC-JDBC adaptor, but it requires that I download and install an adaptor on my local server, and I'm not sure if I can do that in AWS.

Thanks!

Hi Chuck,

First of all, and in case you don't really need a Relational Database. You could record your data into Collections.

Collections are native RunMyProcess Databases based on Mongo DB architecture. Nevertheless, it's not relational. If it's your case, we could discuss more about Collections. Meanwhile, you could refer to that tutorial.

Then, Secure Entreprise Connector is required when you need to make RunMyProcess interact with your Local Servers.

Fortunately, Amazon has some Web Services (and documentation related to it) which will enable you to configure your RunMyProcess connectors. To Access these requests documentation, you must :

1 - log in to your AWS Management Console.

2 - Click on "RDS" into "Amazon Web Services" section (Image 1 below)

3 - Click on "Documentation" into the RDS tool panel (Image 2 below)

4 - Do not forget to prepare your DB Endpoint you will use when configuring your Connector (Image 3 below)

Best regards.
