Web Interface Reports Issues

Hello,

I've been having some issues while working with Web Interface Reports, sometimes they either de-attach automatically from the project or give an error while launching the application instances list,

What do you mean by "de-attaching" automatically from the project ?

Hi Gareth,

Once I've saved a Web Interface Report and I save the Project that contains it to apply the update, I re-open the Web Interface Report from the Project "Project Definition" tab and it ask me to "Attach the Web Interface Report" to a Project before saving it. Which I've done before.

Moreover, If I try to attach that Web Interface Report to another project (included in the first one) without Deattaching it from the "main" project first, it says it can't load the project instances,

Which one is the best way to proceed if I need to move a Web Interface Report between projects?,

Hi Matias,

Based on what I can read, it sounds like you were disconnected in between or that you don't have the rights on the project you've tried to import the report in.

Anyway, the best practise, is to go directly into the project you want your report to be in, and create directly the report in there, from the "New Resource" menu.

Once you've created, configured and saved your report, you shouldn't have to sae the project as well. Your report is automatically in the project you've created it in.
