adding additional column in collection after import of file

Hi Team,

I have a file with 3 columns,am reading the values from file and saving them in collection.But as per my requirement i have to add a 4th column in collection for all the rows(fields) from the excel file .

excel - 3 columns - name | age | gender

But i need to add an extra column in collection and update the 4th column with a single value

coll - 4 columns - name | age | gender | contact
