Applying Filter on Reports using Date

I am not able to search records in the Reports by applying date as a filter.

Hi Bidisha,

I have created one Web interface report and assign it to a report widget in my web interface. My report contains one column Created on which is standard column of datatype Date.

When I apply filter(By the Option provided in Reports widget) on that column it dose not show any records.

What need to be done to work above.

Hi,

Please describe the test data you are working with.

What is the date you have in the column, what filter operator and value you put?

If the column and filter is completely system set values:

Date in the report is saved as Unix timestamp in seconds (at the time instance was created).

Filter date choice is saved as Unix timesamp in seconds (GMT, 0AM).

So there might be some miss match of date if you only look at displayed string values.

Maybe widen the filters choice by 1 or 2 days to check?
