Hello,

Is it possible to show / hide a widget in a web interface based on the role (lane ID) of the active user by putting script in the Edit visibility condition in the rulles TAB of a widget?

If yes:
What kind of script should this be? and would should be the result of this script?

Can you give me an example of this script?

Thanks!

Hi,

Yes, you can hide the widget visibility based on the roles (lane ID) in the visibility section. You have to use "${has_right("laneID")}" .

Hope this information will help you.

Feel free to ask for further queries.

Best Regards,
Shobhit

Hi,

Just for your information don't use double quotes with has_right. I used for highlighting purpose (for your better understanding). Use ${has_right('laneID')} .
