Hi,

Earlier in the forum i discussed with you all on how to grant access to the multiple assigned people at a same time for a given task from email by the following link,

https://groups.google.com/a/runmyprocess.com/forum/?hl=en&fromgroups=#!topic/supportforum/qP9eFTUIx20

The solution that was provided is working fine, but the issue that i am facing now is at a for single logged ticket multiple sub tickets are being genarted for the safety officers.

For ex- user 1 has log a ticket, and for that particular ticket there are two safety officers.... since two safety officer has been assigned a job, so for this logged ticket two reports are being generated...

As result of this if safety officer 1 one gives any comment and assigned the work to any other person, similarly at the same point of time if safety officer 2 comes in and give any comment he is unable to view what are the comments made by safety officer 1, since there two sub tickets generated.

Now currently i want one sub ticket should generated for my manual screen where all the assigned safety officers can go and assigned the person they want and give their respective comments. So all other assigned persons can view the respected comments given by the safety officers.

To achieve what i want i was trying with nested process since my main process as well the sub process are sharing the same measures, and variables, with run as last process modifier.

Now as result of this a single ticket is being generated , but when i am clicking on the form name to perform my actions as a safety officer i am unable to do anything...

Could please tell me where i am wrong...

OR is there any other method to achieve what i am asking for....

Please help

Thanks and regards

Hi Somjit,

Take "Manual Task" under "Saftey officer" lane. Check notify via email box. It will assign all users under"Saftey officer" role.
e.g If user1 open it and filled/ assign to someone else and at the same time if user2 open the same form it will be only read only as user1 has already filled that.

It will create a single instance in report referring to user who has filled it.Please find attachment for better understanding.

Hope this helps you.

Thanks and Regards,

Sweta

Hi All,

Please find the meeting summary/solution suggested in the call.

  1. Parallel Process/Sequential Process:-  As per the requirement, Parallel sub process execution is suggested. Here multi sub process instance will be created as per the number of Security Officer assigned by the assignee. Process will go to the next activity after all the Security Officer will take action to the task assigned to them.
  2. To view the comment made by other security officer, comments/acted user and other data with some flag can be saved in the collection which is accessible and can be used to display in Web Interface.
  3. If the user is on leave or is not acted on the tasks assigned, after sending the reminders to the user after certain time, activity should be auto approved.
  4.  Hiding of sub process instance in Report: As in parallel execution multi instance is created, group by feature on generated request no. can be used for hiding the sub process instance and on click of the (“+”) icon, those instances can be seen if the user want to.
  5. Filtering of Tasks: Adding the filter of the connected user in report is suggested for only showing the tasks assign to a user.

Thanks & Regards,

Pankaj Kumar
