Hi

We have completed first iteration of the project and would like to move project to customer account. Request advice on:
1. Steps involved in moving project to customer account
2. How can we continue to work on this project as developers (as it is a different customer ID, should I be added as users in that? Does it require any special license)

Regards

Vinod

Hi Vinod,

Once you develop the application, please test the application in "Acceptance" mode for User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Once you done UAT, you can create Live mode for Production use. Please find reference link as below

1. To copy project to customer account, Please create a case on Platform Support with below information and our team will make the copy of the project in customer account.

  • Source Account ID
  • Target Account Id (Customer Account ID)
  • Project Name
  • Source account admin user credential (username and password)
  • Target account admin user credentials (username and password)
2. You can directly work on Customer Account and make different versions of the project in customer account, this way you can keep trace of the versions of the project and keep "version files" of the project also.

Thank you,
Pankaj Kumar

Dear Pankaj

Thanks for your quick response.  One quick doubt: In our account both my self and vinod are admins.  Can we use our username and password to log in to the customer account too?  Or they need to buy additional two licenses more to do this?

With Best Regards,

Hi Vipin,

A user can only access to the account in which he/she is created and have accessibility to that account only. You can not access the customer account with your credentials until unless you have a partner license and manage the customer account by Support Authorization.
