Hi,

I have made a workflow live (it's working fine in Test mode) - when I submit the launch screen, I then get my email for a manual task. I am then logged in as that user in Gmail, I then click on the link, but for some reason I am not able to type in the text box for comments, and I am not able to click on the approve or reject buttons.

In test mode these are available.

I am pretty sure it's some configuration setting I am missing, but I am not able to figure it out.

Thanks
Corey

Hello Corey,

In Test mode, all the task are assigned to the Initiator of the workflow.
In Live mode, you need to make sure you belong to the lane having the rights to validate the task otherwise you wont be able to validate it.

Hi,

So maybe I am not understanding how to set this up properly.  Here is a video of what I am doing.
Please advise

Here is link to video...

I also have another important question.  I need my forms to be triggered by a non logged in person - how do I setup the forms (initial entry) - to be such that you don't need to login to access them.  The user who puts in the event request will not be an authenticated user - it could be someone outside the organization.

Thanks
corey

Hello Corey,

The reason is that your task is assigned to process...@wakefieldfamily.org and not to ad...@wakefieldfamily.org.
In RunMyProcess, you're logged in as ad...@wakefieldfamily.org. You can see that when you go to portal.runmyprocess.com the logged in person is the admin.
The task is assigned to the 'process committee' lane that contains both of the user. That's why the  ad...@wakefieldfamily.org can open the task without getting a forbidden but is not able to validate it.

To prevent this kind of confusion and authentication problems with RunMyProcess when using google OpenID method, you should not be signed in to 2 google accounts having both a RunMyProcess account from the same browser.

Now in order to be able to trigger a process anonymously, you need to create a public form. The subscription for this offer is 100 euro per year. You can add this offer by going to the offers tab=> Access to public applications offer.

Best regards,

Hi,

Ok this is understood and I now am able to make the approval.

Concerning the public forms - I have added the offer for the public forms.  How do I convert my current forms into public ones?

Thanks
Corey

Hello,

You can do that by going to the implementation tab of your interface, then put your visibility into public instead of private.

Sabine

Hello Corey,

You're welcome.

I can see you're using P_mode=LIVE, did you create a new version and pushed it on production after switching the interface to public?

Regards,

Sabine
