Internal Server Error (500) when sending email notification

Hello -

I am getting the long error message shown below when an email notification task starts. The same process version works without error in Test mode.

Any assistance would be helpful.

Hi Michael,

Please check in "Acceptance" or "Live" mode, you have included the "Mail Provider" in the version you have created. Also Please try the basic troubleshooting step in link shared below:-


If you still face the issue, kindly share the details of your mail-provider (remove any private info, only general configuration) so that we can suggest you more on this.

Hello Pankaj -

I confirmed that the "Mail Provider" is included in the Acceptance mode.  The same Mail Provider project is also include in the Test mode version.  But it does not work in Acceptance whereas it does in Test.

The link you sent was to instructions for how to "Read Gmail messages on other email clients using IMAP".  As this is a problem with sending messages, not reading them, I don't know how this link is useful.

Appreciate any help you can offer.

Good morning Sir,
Are you using the default mail provider or a custom one?
If you are using a custom one, please check that the configuration of your provider is exactly the same in TEST, ACCEPTANCE and LIVE.

Could you please try to import the mail provider in a new project and setup a new process with mail-step configured and provide the related screenshots(if error remain same).

Hello -

I have successfully imported the "Mail provider" project into a project, "MW Test Project" with a simple web interface, "MW Test Interface 2" and a simple, one-task process, "MW Test Process".

The app works without error in both Test and Acceptance mode.

However, I still have a problem with the project, "Creart US - User", which uses the "Mail provider" project to send notifications.  As stated initially in this chain, it works without error in Test but we get RMP server errors in Acceptance when it attempts to send notifications.

I am looking forward to your assistance.

As the default "Mail provider" works in new Project created, we suspect that something missing on existed application.
Please share the configuration of your mail step and it's related Provider chosen to replicate the scenario.

After plenty of testing, I have determined that the "Zodiac Mail Provider" project is at fault.

At this point, I don't know who can help me resolve the problem with that project.

We just created a new mail provider on your account: 'turbo no-r...@runmyprocess.com' under Mail Provider project. We recommend you use it as a replacement of the other custom mail provider that doesn't work. Let us know if it helps.
