Hi Team,

I have created web-interface reports in my project. The problem is that some users are unable to see that reports. If they open a web-interface the reports shows empty.

But If I log-in into the system I can see the reports.

I want to add some more information.
My project has versions.
I have also add the users role into the Access right tab as a "User".
And my project is in ACCEPTANCE mode.
And the users are newly created in the system but are unable to see the requests created after their user creation.

Could you please help me in this.

Regards,
Sagar

Hi Tejas,

Here I have attached the Screen shots

1] Reports_ok : This is the screen shot when I login to system. I can see the requests

2]Reports_not_ok : This screen shot when the other user logs in to system.

3]User_my_request_report : This is the other report which I configured in my application. This report is fine with other user. This screenshot shows that other user can see the records in other reports.

4]WI_report_config : My "All Request" Web interface report configuration in the system.

Regards,
Sagar

Hi Sagar,
I hope you have not added any filter such as [[user.login]] to the "All Requests" report. Also please check with the Access rights as well if the other users have rights to see all the requests raised by different users. If the other users have "User" profile, then add them to Supervisor role in Project's Access Rights and check if he can see all the requests. I am sure they are already present in User role.

Thanks & Regards
Bidisha

Hi Sagar,
Adding to my above reply, since you are running your application in acceptance mode, make sure that you add the new users to the Acceptance Users as well.

Thanks & Regards

Hi Bidisha,

Thanks you for reply,

All my roles have access right of "User" in my project.

To see all the request raised by other users in application do I need to add them in "Supervisor".

And What if my roles are both in "Supervisor" as well as "User".

Sagar

Hi Sagar,
Basically it is not required because Users can read WI reports but Supervisor can Read/Write/Delete the reports. But since you are facing this problem,so only I asked you to test by putting the users in Supervisor role since they have "User" profile and not Administrator. Also make sure you put them in Acceptance Users.

Thanks & Regards
Bidisha

Hi Bidisha,

Your solution is working. Thanks you...!

One more question, Can we have more than one versions of project in Acceptance mode?

Because when we create new version the data of past process instances not available in new one.

But If we keep the past one in same "Acceptance" mode and also transfer the new one to "Acceptance" mode then we can have data of past processess with us.

Can we do that?

Regards,
Sagar

Hi Sagar,
Yes,you can have more than one versions in acceptance mode and run your application with any of the versions. But you can also check "Keep Updated" in Version so that whatever changes you make in a project reflects on the Version also.So you don't need to create new versions each time you make changes in any of the resources in the project.
But use "Keep Updated" very carefully since it reflects every change you make in the Project in its Version.

Thanks & Regards
Bidisha
