¿Hay alguna manera de acceder al contenido de la colección de la URL para ser insertado en un drop down?

¿Hay alguna manera de filtar el contenido de un drop down, que se alimenta de un rol, por ejemplo quiero filtar los roles segun su ubicacion.?
