Submit button not working on first click

Hi Team,

I have a login page for my application where the user needs to enter login credentials(name & password).Then the user clicks on submit button then a process gets started and I have added a pre-launch script for the button to check user validation.So when the user clicks on submit button at first nothing is happening !!!! ... only on the second click the code gets executed and the process starts .

Could you please help me with this.. I need the submit button to work on the first click
