Hi,
polling for changes in the customer environemnt with SEC Connector is too expensive for us. Is there a way of pushing changes to RMP using the SEC connection or reduce the cost of polling?

Hi,

Could you please address mentioned points:
1. What is your customer's environment?
2. How you have implemented customer's environment with RMP?
3. How much data you are exchaning/pushing(in size) into RMP and what is the frequency?

Kindly elaborate your requirement which helps us to provide you specific solution.

Thanks & Regards,
Prachi Chandak

Hi,
we are evaluating this for a customer. Its about synchronizing Microsoft Dynamics instances. But I just want to know if the SEC connector can be used for pushing data instead of pulling.
Regards
Oliver

Hi Oliver,

Yes.You can use SEC connector for pushing and pulling data from on-premise system. You have to create tunnel  between the RunMyProcess to on-premise system.

Hi,
we want to push data from Microsoft Navision to RMP over the SEC Connector. So Navision is initiating the data transfer. Are you sure that works? I cannot find an example on how to do this. All calls seem to be initiated by RMP.

Oliver
