Hi,

I have a project with some processes, WI's and reports and I have set the access rights to the 'user' type. In my project I have some WI's that are used to launch a process and some other that are used only to see information in reports.

I need to hide some information to some users. For example, I have set the user acces rights to a customer, and an operator, and I want the operator can see all WIs, but I want the customer can see WIs used to query some information and I want too he cannot see the WIs that contains reports, charts, etc. (and now he can because he has access rights='user').

So...
How can I hide some WI to a role?

Thanks in advance and regards

Hi JM,

Thank you for contacting Fujitsu RunMyProcess Support.

Yes, you can hide the Web interface as per the user possibilities, to do so please use "has_right("laneID")" function to hide the WI based on role wise.

Ex: ${has_right("12345")}

Please refer below forum link for the same:

Assuming that you have dedicated WI(Homepage) where your customer can refer the different applications mentioned by you.

If you have any other request / question, please don't hesitate to contact us back.

Regards,
Ankita

Hi Ankita,

I'm referring to a WI that doesn't launch any process. This WI only shows reports information and some logos.

So, I'm a little confused.

Where should I write the has_right function, exactly?

Thanks again and regards

Hi Javier,

You can use "has_right" method to make visible/invisible some section (widgets) in a web_interface to  users as per their roles (lanes). Please refer to attached screen-print for more details.

If you want to set some roles can not access some web-interfaces, you need to remove the roles from "User" Access. For this, you can create different project and set "User" level access accordingly.

Thank you,
