Hi all,

What is the aim of having a "father lane" and "child lane" ?

Is it linked to the escalating process ?

Many thanks,
Regards.

Hi,

The Parent filed value is populated with it's immediate upper role/entity, so that it can be quickly recognized when the Organization has multiple sub roles defined.

User Guide Ref: http://docs.runmyprocess.com/User_Guide/Development_Environment/Toolbox/Organization

It is not related to escalation and has to be defined based on roles in process as per requirement.

Hi Murali,

And thx a lot for your answer.

In that case, how to define a N-level manager used in the fonction
get_manager(login, level) → {string} ?

Hi,
The function get_manager(login, level) should return the User's Manager's email id when you pass login = User's email id(string) level=1 (Number of levels the Manager is above the User as you define in Organization roles). It is optional.

Unfortunately it is deprecated.

Thanks & Regards

Hi,
Currently the function has been deprecated
But as far as your question goes, there may be 2 or 3 managers but the function should return the particular user's manager in that lane(whose email id you are providing inside the function) & not all the managers. As you know, 1 employee for sure would be having 1 manager only.

Thanks & Regards
