Why googlespreadsheet id/ key is different from tutorial?

Hi team,

I have learn the integration with spreadsheet from Tech Tuesday. I found that the spreadsheet id from the tutorial is different with spreadsheet id from my google drive. My spreadsheet id/key is like this:

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/153O-7ziGrqOjObeUWBt-kjVo5UME0rXTW1jbD5IjnRg/edit#gid=0

It is different from the tech tuesday video. You can refer attached picture, the spreadsheet id/ key from the tutorial.

Hi,

Google spreadsheet id is a unique id generated when ever we create a new one and will always be different from any other.

Yes. I knew that the id is unique. but if i check google spreadsheet url in the tutorial, before the id number, there is a word 'key', but in my spreadsheet there's no key?

Hi,

The URL format got changed from Google end recently and the unique id displayed from your URL is same as Key.

You can test and confirm by replacing it in below URL.

https://spreadsheets.google.com/feeds/download/spreadsheets/Export?key=spreadsheet_id
