Hidden split widjet

Hi,

I was just trying to develop an app from the following link

http://docs.runmyprocess.com/Developer_Guide/Collection/Collections_BackOffice

Now at the end of the page i found something called hidden split widjet where the script is being written in the js widjet, so can any one tell me how to create it and what is the role of it??

Hi Somjit,

It is recommended to embed JS in a hidden split widget.

To create a split widget: add a widget,then select (=) at the bottom right of the widget.

Hi,

In order to create a split (or grid) widget, you just have to create an empty widget and click on the "=" sign in the top-right-hand side corner. It should create a kind of section/grid, where you can add widgets within it (like JS widgets in the example). This is what we call a split widget.

Just switch this widget visibility rule to false, and there you have your hidden split widget.
