Description in SRS report can't highlight and copy?

Hi Support,

RMP end users at my Malaysia complaining that they cannot highlight & copy any text from launch page from any MY-application. For example, refer snapshot attached, take a look at 'Detail Description' text input. Normally, users will insert many characters in this field & sometimes they need to copy the long description in MS WORD or excel when do report/ analysis.

Previously, they able to highlight & copy it but on 4th Nov they said they cannot do it anymore. Kindly explain to me why this happened?

Good Morning.

Thank you for reporting the problem.

We identified that, it's happening for few users due to upgrade of their Web Browser (Firefox & Chrome).
Our R&D team is working on the impacts and possible solutions and will be fixed in future RunMyProcess platform release.

However, to recover the previous behavior in short term, you can use the following java-script code (for each widget) :

[widget_id].setActive(true); // To enable copy/paste feature on Text input
$('#[widget_id]').prop('readonly', true); // To display validation and required rules

Hi Nas,

On the submitted forms, text field  is always inactive and it is not possible to copy the content. The workaround is applicable only for the new requests.

Just to update, we have fixed the reported bug/functionality and will be available in upcoming release, tentatively Jan'17.

Hi Nas,

We have fixed the reported bug and widget functionality will be normal for all new web interface created and for the existing ones, please migrate to latest release(thibault_v1). Additional details can be found on RMP userguide release notes.

Migrate to latest release means you suggest us to create new version of our application & post to PRODUCTION, is it?
