Re direct into one tab

Hi forum,

I have created a web interface in which i have configured menu bar, and also given some sort of reports. Now i have a issue i.e. when i am clicking on any of my menu bar item or to the form name in the report section, the forms or the reports are opening in a new tab, but i want when my user clicks on any menu bar item or form name in the report section, the link should be open in the same tab, rather than opening on a new tab of the web browser.

so could any body tell me how to solve this issue???

Hi,

If your JSON menu configuration for each menu bar item has the following line, then it will open link in a new tab : 

"target" : "_blank"

So, remove this line from each menu bar JSON object, then links will be opened in same tab.

If this line wasn't there in your JSON menu configuration, then it may be due to browser compatibility issues, so let us know which browser/version you faced this.


Regarding form links in report widget, you can check the box for "Open links in the same window" in the properties of your Report widget.

one more thing Pray can we mapped one custom list value with another custom list value as we do in case of variable list value

ex-for custom list 1 if i select option a from the drop down item then the next list widget (custom list) automatically the corresponding value of a will appear

will that be possible in RMP?

please reply me as soon as possiable.

I didnt understand your question completely. If you want to have a filter in a report widget for search, you can use our default filters in report widget. Click on highlighted icon as shown below and then type search keywords for a specific column (below Contains):

No the custom list not hard coded or binding list it's just the default custom list that can created in RMP from The option NEW-Custom List

Hi,

I'm creating a interface for enrollment form and using a Google spreadsheet to store details(name,branch(list of states eg:karnarata, and value of list item KA),date, contact number etc.and submit button to do the action).

In that i want to generate a auto number while storing to database in format (enrollment number should be alphanumeric and should contain a prefix based on the branch (e.g. KA, KL, TN) and year (e.g. 14), month (e.g. 08) and an auto increment no for the month (should reset to 0001 for the next month and other for different branch))
And want to show the generated number as an alert after submitting the form,each time it should check the branch and auto incremented number(0001,0002 etc) and create the enrollment form
