Hi Team,

In my application, i have a approver multiple selection list, in which i am able to get the approver from collection, the another thing for this approver list is there is branch code and region code selection in my web interface.

Now when the branch code is selected or the region code is being selected , it respective branch manager or region manager should come in the list. But the issue is the position for branch or regional manager is not fixed,i,e in some condition, the branch manger or regional manager should come on the second level of approval, on some condition it come in the first level of approval, or at some condition it might come on the last level of approval.

Can you please suggest me how to manage this issue?

Please help...

Regards
Somjit

Hi Somjit,

We need more information about your query for more understanding.
  1. How the branch code and the region code is coming, is it from a collection or some external service? if from the collection, is it the same collection?
  2. Please share your collection details
  3. for a particular user, the business rule by which the branch manger and region manager is decided?
  4. Please share the details of the business rule of the multilevel approval scenario.

Thank you,
Pankaj Kumar

Hi Pankaj,

The branch and the region code is coming from the collection, actually i have two different sets of collections. In one collection all the customer data is being setup, where i have the branch code region code as well as the other respective managers.
So that when the customer logs into the system the values are being defaulted for some fields, just like it happens for user meta-data. Now this thing is working fine.

The other set of collection is for the approval routing which has the max and min amount, guarantee types, channel group, etc.

Now the thing is suppose for a ticket there are 4 level of approvers which is being stored in the multiple selection list. Among that according to a given scenario, the fourth person is the branch manager.

So what i want the 3 person from the list should come from the approval matrix and the fourth should come from the customer data.

I am attaching below a screen shot of my approval routing, please check it out.

Hi Somjit,

I could not understand your requirement completely.

As far I understood you want to push approver name into multi selection list from two different collection. And that list should be in some sort of sequence. Is that your requirement ?

Hi Somjeet,

You need to add extra property in collections i.e. "priority" or "order", and once you created the multi selection list, you can sort the list based on these property.
