Hello Team,

I want to delete some users from RMP account. I have questions regarding this -
1. If the deleted user is involved in the any request instances and instance is closed/open then what will happen?
2. If there is delegation done by deleted user to another user then what will happen?
3. If there is delegation for the deleted user then what will happen?
4. What will be the impact of deleting user from account in ACCEPTANCE and LIVE mode?
5. Is there any impact on audit log history of request instances if we delete the user. Whether it will get erased or not?
6. Is there anything else that I need to think on before deleting the user from RMP account?

Please guide me regarding this.

Thanks

Hi Priyanka,

Here are the guidelines for your queries.

1) If any user is involved in any request instances then delete that user
before delegating his tasks, it is not recommended.Because the user's tasks
and subsequently the whole request will become blocked.

2) If there is delegation done by deleted user to another user then
the representative will be able to execute the delegator's tasks.

3) If there is delegation for deleted user, the task will assign to
   the delegator.

4) The deleted user does not have the accessibility of that instances.

5) Audit log history of request instance will remain. But not accessible
   by deleted user.

6) If you delete the user from RMP account then the data and subsequent
instances will not accessible by that user.

6) Before deleting a user it is good practice to consider creating a
delegation for his tasks. If no delegation is in place, the user's tasks
and subsequently the whole request, will become blocked. If a delegation
is in place, the representative will be able to execute the delegator's
tasks and hence prevent the request becoming blocked.

Please don't hesitate to contact us for any further query.

Thanks & Regards,
