Hi

Is there a simple way to schedule a process to run on certain days of the week?

For example, I need an email and SMS to be sent every Friday and every Tuesday. Same content to the same people, twice a week.

Any feedback would be appreciated.

Regards
Christa

Hi Christa,

Well you'll have to make two different processes, one which will be triggered by a timer every Friday, and the other one for Tuesdays.
Be reassured, you can make a copy of an already designed process. So design first the process for Fridays for example, and you'll just to make a copy of it, and change to configuration for the copy to be triggered on Tuesdays.

To make a process triggered by a timer, just design your process first, like any process, and then after, select the Start event (1) and change the Trigger option (2) to Timer. Then you'll be able to specify the Start Date (pick any Friday for example), the number of repetitions (you should tick Unlimited in your case) and finally the delay between reps (7 days in your case).

You have to know that the timer won't work if the process is in TEST.
Processes launched by timers are only triggered automatically once in LIVE.
