How can I search a WI recorded?

I mean when I search in the webinterface reports, it shows me only 1 WI of a process, how can I search each WI of this process.

Thanks in advance

Hello,

Each process should be linked to one and only one WI.
Did you try to trigger the same process from 2 different interfaces?

Thank you for your answer Sabine El rassy.
I didn't explain myself correctly.
I mean how can I see each screen of the WI.

When a process was launched, how can I search these screens of the WI?

Hello,

In that case you can simply create a new web interface report and add the column Screen so you can see on which screen is each of your instances.

If you want to filter over a certain screen, all you need to do is to select the needed screen as shown in the screenshot below:

Hope that was clear.

Thanks for your answer sabine.

I'm trying to show all the screens per process, I mean I want to see each of the screens.

when I use web interface reports, it filters by screens, so when I use this tool, only I can see determinated screen.

Do you know how can I see all the screens per process?

thanks

Hi Sabine

I think I'm not doing myself understood well.

I have this issue:

I have a launched process, but I don't know how to see each one of the screens configured in each of the activity box in this process ( each one of this screens has info that I want to see). How can I achieve this?

Thanks

I suppose you have a simple process with sequential tasks. If that's the case, a same instance of a given process cannot be at 2 different tasks at the same time.

Let me give you an example:

Supposing you have one process with 2 steps of approval: Validation 1 and Validation 2.
On the input of Validation 1 => you have a variable 'my_variable = test1'

In your 'Launch screen', you have defined 'my_variable = test0'

On the web interface side you have 3 screens:
1. Launch
2. Validation 1
3. Validation 2

If you are at the 'Launch screen', having the variable my_variable = "test1" and did a 'Save as draft'
=> If you create a WI report with all of the screens selected => You will see that you have 1 instance over the 'Launch screen' with the value test0 for 'my_variable'

Now if you click on submit=> The instance is updated. You are now at the 'Validation 1' Screen
=> If you create a WI report with all of the screens selected => You will see that you have 1 instance over the 'Validation 1 screen'  with the value test1 for 'my_variable'

Your instance cannot be on the Launch screen and on the Validation 1 at the same time  that's why you won't see 2 different lines in your web interface report. Reports shows you real time information.

So once you've updated your process, you will only see information of 'Validation 1' screen. Information of your 'Launch screen' are not traced.
test0 won't figure in your web interface report.

So what you need to do cannot be achieved using web interface reports. If you have few of the variables that must be traced, you can try to use the P_historized in your History widget. That will allows you to save the value of your variables in each step of your process.

Sabine I really appreciate the time you took to give me such answer.

I see. The web interface reports tool only show me real time information, that is updated when I click on submit in determinated screen.

So when I use the history widget, I can show like a list of each of the screens with all the information that has passed, right?.

I want to find this approach similar to:
https://groups.google.com/a/runmyprocess.com/forum/?hl=en&fromgroups=#!searchin/supportforum/historized$20variable/supportforum/sEQfGaa2Dk8/f9GeVZNXKHoJ

But when I write the Js in the column, should it be like P_historized.My_var_name?

thanks

I create another post to be more specific about the new issue generated.
it is called "Using a history widget to create a list of links to see each of the screens."
Could you link the new one to it?
thanks.
