Hi,

I have a problem when doing a manual task.
The error says: Not found (404) - The server has not found anything matching the request URI.

The process image is attached, it is a very very simple one.

Thanks

Hi,

Can I know how was this error encountered ? For the manual task, check that the web interface screen is attached to the manual task. If the error is encountered from the url of a web interface in the email body then check the email body configuration and the process varaible for the url if used.

Let me know more details.

Thanks,

Pray Desai.

Thank you. It's solved, I forgot to configure some parameters.

Do you know which are the best practices to identify a problem or error in RMP?

Thanks.

Hi,

In repsonse to your query on "the best practices to identify a problem or error in RMP" is to test your application from bottom to top :

In the process, you can test the process variables such as freemarker scripts by clicking on "open an editing window" icon next to its value. You can enter the values of variables used in "Edit script" in left pane and then click on "Test" button in bottom right corner. You will see the result in left pane and you can find the errors.

If there are any connectors used, then you can click on "Launch Test" button in its connector description and enter the values of input variables required for the connector call in "Parameters" and click on "Launch Test". You will see the result in right pane and you can find the errors.

Next step will be to test the whole process flow. Click on "Launch Test" at the top of the process. If there are variables from web interface used then click on "Add a variable" in left pane and enter their values and then click on "Launch Test" button in top right corner. You will see the result in right pane and you can click on "Open Console" to find the errors. You will see the execution path where green dot icon on a task indicates that task was successfully executed. You can also see values of the initial, computed and internal parameters from the "Parameters" tab.

You can also reboot the process from any task by clicking on small pencil icon on top called "Edit Process excecution".

You can test the javascript and HTML on the web interface by clicking on "Test console" ("+" icon ) and you will see the result below its console. If there is an error, then you will see "N/A" in red and you can click on it to see a dialog box showing details.

Once you find and solve errors, open your web interfaces in test mode and check the process reports to see their execution path and parameters. When you are satisifed, you can create a live production version and check the process reports.

Hope this helps. Let us know if you have queries.
