Date Format

Hi,


In my manual activity Description portion i am trying to pass some of the variables of my web interface

When the user receives the email all the variables are showing the perfect values except for my date variable.

In the mail body the date is coming in the form text i.e like this 1416916800 .

Could you please tell me how can i define the type of my date variable in description portion of manual activity.

This is the body of the mail

To: Safety Officers

The Below Ticket has been logged. Please take the appropriate action immediately.
Title:sam
Date Occured:1416916800 [where date is coming in text format]
Plant:CMC Branch
Area:Chimney Stack
Risk:medium

Hi Somjit,

When you are using date widget it has 2 types of variables, Numeric date variable and String date variable so when you use the variable which is given in the Numeric date variable in the process then its stores the UNIX timestamp (defined as the number of seconds that have elapsed since 00:00:00 Coordinated Universal Time (UTC), Thursday, 1 January 1970). This will be useful when you want to do some calculations. So in your case you need to use the String date variable in body of the email. Attached screenshot for reference.
